If you’re looking for a way to find a new fans, you’ve come to the right music blog. The number one reason I started The Good Groupie back in 2010 was to share the bands I love with other music fans just like me. While new music discovery isn’t the sole purpose of The Good Groupie, it’s a big part of it! I’d love to help you find a good groupie – someone who truly loves your music, will come to your shows, buy your albums and share your music with others – of your own!
But I am not your average music blog. The Good Groupie is all about being a music fan, so I don’t write album and concert reviews or write posts to promote shows local to me. What I do write about are topics and music that gets me excited as a fan.
Here’s how I can share your band:
- Feature your new music – Got some new music out that you want people to hear? Each month I share a round-up of all the new bands I’ve discovered and would love to include yours! Plus, if you’re one of my three favorites, you’ll get included in my special email-only post that goes out once a month to the most loyal good groupies around.
- Let’s do an interview – I have a few Q&A series, from a short and sweet five-question interview to a more in-depth post, all done from the fan perspective…meaning I won’t be asking the same questions you get from everyone else. By the way, I totally get bands keep a busy schedule getting ready for the next show, so I send most of my interviews via email to be completed when you have time for it.
- Texas forever – I’m a Texas girl, born and bred, and huge supporter of local music. While The Good Groupie isn’t limited to featuring only Texas-based bands…I sure love introducing my readers from around the world to the local bands from the Lone Star State. If you fit the bill, get in touch and let’s show the world what makes music from Texas so spectacular.
