Happy Halloween, good groupies! All week long, I’ve been celebrating my favorite holiday with some of my favorite music. I’ve shared songs about witches, vampires, assorted monsters and even the devil.
But today, I share it all with you: my carefully curated ultimate Halloween playlist.c
This project has been a labor of love since 2012. Each year I find all kinds of new Halloween playlists or albums I’ve never heard before, give them a good listen and look for songs that hit my criteria for a perfectly spooky tune.
The result? More than 200 hand-picked songs totaling 11 1/2 hours worth of music…just for Halloween.
And today I am once again sharing it with you so you can use it for your own Halloween party and festivities or use it as a swipe file to create your own Halloween playlist!

But just in case that isn’t enough Halloween music for you, here’s a few of my favorite resources for finding new tunes:
Safetytess’ Jukebox Selects
I love that Tess and I share a love for older music – especially where Halloween is concerned. If you haven’t yet, check out her latest Jukebox Selects. Here is her 2015 Halloween edition:
And the 2014 edition:
This Internet radio station might be my favorite Halloween music find, ever. The owner, Clay, was kind enough to write a guest post for The Good Groupie sharing a few of his favorite tunes.
Plus…he is DJing my Halloween party tomorrow! From across the Internet. How cool is that?
You can listen along with us by heading to radiodork.com. I’ve put in a few requests from my ultimate Halloween playlist – let me know if you hear one!
This site has been a fantastic resource for finding off-the-beaten-path songs to add to my Halloween playlist. There are some seriously awesome music fans curating some killer collections of music on 8tracks. Check out some of the Halloween playlists.
“The Haunting” is one of my favorites I’ve ever found:
Honestly, sometimes I just Google and find random stuff…like this “Monster Mash/Shake It Off” mash up from KASHKA or “Ten Thirty One” by the ghost in you. I never get tired of seeing what comes up when I hunt for “Halloween music”.
That should be enough Halloween music to hold you for 2015. If not, you can always come join me at spookylittlehalloween.com where I’ll be blogging about Halloween year-round.
I hope you all have a fantastically spooky weekend!
